Yes,this woman...Yes,this time

As predicted the far left have come out guns blazing agenst the V.P. pick Sarah Palin. What truly amases me is how predictable the bias in the media is in their bias attacks. For example the New York Times practacally devoted their entire front page to the attack on Palin's teenage daughter. The trouble that the biased media still has is you can throw a hurricane at  someone's house but if it is built on a solid rock it shall stand. McCains choice of the Alaskan governor was a bold move and a courageous choice. Sarah Palin is pro-life, rock solid family values (meaning marrage is husband and wife) and a lifetime member of the NRA. The left has questioned her "lack of experence" Well, I would remind the left that the experence starting with the PTA-a soccer mom, being mayor and then a successful govenor qualifies her to be a leader in a lot more than someone who is running for president who was just bearly in the senate and has not hardly anything but a few legislative proposals.  I remember not to long ago there was another ticket with a woman picked as VP. The year was 1984 and big brother and big sister leterally were running for the white house. Well, wise Americans saw thru the socialist facade that was presented. One article had this title" not this woman, not this time"  and the Reagan/Bush ticket won by a landslide! Now we are in another election year with very high stakes. The choice of Palin is good for America and now is the time so I say: YES!! this woman YES this time!!!

Just BIDEN our time...till November

A huge party is being thrown this week in Denver, colorado. The November elections also are just around the corner so you know there will be plenty to talk about. Now that Barack Obama has chosen his running mate Joe Biden I am sure the Democrats are thinking that this election is a done deal...think again. There are just to many important issues and far to many unanswered questions that are on the minds of Americans. Just a few weeks ago the political party that is throwing this gala went on vacation raither than doing their job and vote on the important issue of offshore drilling.  So their vacation is far more important to them than a very real energy crisis.Congress can go on their vacation whyle so many working Americans are struggling with the high gas prices just to get to work. The "nanny almighty" herself turned off the lights and the microphones to silence any opposition to this. To their credit house republicans carryed on even in the dark. Wecome to the new dark ages. It was totally unacceptable for congress to leave washington without coming up with a comprehensive solution to the energy crisis. All the speeches that will be delivered this week will do more to increase global warming with their hot air than doing anything positive for this nation. I will be watching the convention this week. I will be also taking notes. I know many American are still not buying into what is being advertised b the democrats no matter how big their show is. In the mean time the final exam will come in November.

Putin's land grab.

If Vladimer Putin wanted to send a message by his attack...he did. He showed the world what a bully does. With tanks, aircraft and troops he revealed to the whole world that Georgia is the first to grab in his intention to restablish the Soviet empire. It sounds like a storyline from a science fiction movie that has the "death star" in it but sadly, this is all to real. The situation in Georgia is  also the first big test for the presidential candidates. To his credit McCain has stepped up to the plate with the most firm responce to this crisis. The Russian military has been planning this for a time now-does it not surprise anyone that they pulled this stunt during the olympics? Georgia is a true friend of America and along with the Ukrane has requested membership to join NATO. Hummmmm perhaps this is the true reason for Putin's land grab: to stomp out the torch of liberty before more people see it and realise that they do have a choice. In this election year in November we have a very important choice to make . Future generations of Americans will hold us responceable  if wise descions are not made-here-and-now. The time for playing political games is over. With so much at stake here we must do our homework before we vote(and thank God we can ). As for the crisis that is happening overseas let us all hope and pray that the lights will NOT go out in Georgia.

between Barack and a hard place

Many Hillary supporters are in a dilemma. They  can't stand McCain...and yet, They won't vote for Obama if he was the last candidate on  God's green earth . Now, the buzz is that many Hillary supporters may stage a coup at the convention...we will see. but, no matter how popular Barack Obama  is and if he is the "chosen one" for the democratic party nothing makes up for his lack of experience. We are not talking about any old job here-we are talking about the presidency of the United States of America! Is is any wonder that many outside of our boarders think that we americans are a bit "off our rocker"?Now, do not get me wrong here. I honestly respect everyone. I have however, very serious concerns about a candidate who wants to be the commander in chief of the most powerful country on earth and the best thing he can say about his experience is that he put forth legislation.Correct me if I am wrong even Paris Hilton has experience in running an organization?I am so glad that we have conservative bloggers and talk radio! Don't trust the lamestream media. just buckle up your seat belts and read. read read. .Keep tuning in folks...it is gonna be a bumpy ride this year!

Knoxville shooting tragedy

This shooting in knoxville on sunday was a senseless tragedy. No matter what this "church" was teaching there is no excuse whatsoever to justify this, it only makes a bad situation only worse and throws a monkey wrench into genuine efforts to bring about positive change in America. As a conservative I can preach a pretty good sermon here and now but I won't. What I am gonna do is write to say the actions of this indavidual this past sunday was utterly inexuseable. Do we want others to " do unto us" in this way? .Even when we may differ greatly on views there is a far more better way to lead to repentance.I hope all will recover and see that there is a better way to resolve differences that will bring true behavior change. It's still not too late.

Rock Solid truth...marriage is husband and wife.

"For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife;and they shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24) These words spoken and written down long ago are still very true today. They tell the truth on what makes up a true marriage. This is the truth-rock solid truth that is not about to change just because some California supreme court ruling that is pandering to a lie. This misguided ruling sends a very clear message to all of us who believe that marriage is between a man and a woman- and that message  is : the truth does not matter anymore. There are so many things that are going wrong in our country ,from the sky-high price  of gas to our largely unprotected boarders. The step that the California court has taken is furthering the peril to our country is in and pushing America closer to oblivion. This is not about marriage  "rights" It is about a small group that is pushing the lie that an abnormal  lifestyle is normal and they are trying thru the courts to force the rest of us to accept their perversion. The real courage comes when one stands and says  NO!"on this solid rock truth I stand" : a husband and a wife make up a true marriage-and kids are best raised by a loving Mom and Dad.This is rock solid truth, true foundation...all other ground is sinking sand.

I wonder if a conservative would recieve the same???

There has been a huge outpouring (and rightly so)of well wishes for Ted Kennedy concerning his condition. As I said is an earlier post it is when things like this happen  the policical party does not matter. We can wish well to another and as someone wisely said: "Do unto others as you have them do unto you" I just wonder if the shoe was on the other foot if the same generous outpouring would occer if a prominent concervative (God forbid)had taken ill. Something inside me tell me the outpouring would not be as much. I do believe it probably be more like a shark tank feeding frenzy. Please, do not get me wrong -I do not wish ill of anyone. God rains on the just and the unjust. What I am saying is just mention a conservative's name in some company and watch what reaction you get. (has anyone listened to the hate-Hannity hot line?--terrible!!!!!)

Clinton,cold war, and Indiana Jones

It is fitting that the latest movie in the highly successful Indiana Jones series is being released this year. This year being an election year covering a lot of  issues. In this movie-set during the cold war-Indy matches wits with a sinister, ruthless, and very cunning agent from the socalist Soviet Union. Be prepared for a lot of trills and chills!  Not since Rocky 4 have I been so excited about a movie. Oh do not worry, Indy will think of a way to defeat this evil  and save the day. Now in the early 90s another sinister plot was foiled. If Clinton got her way with this "universal"health care plan it would mean the death of free choice in America.Make no mistake, the only choices that we would have would be the choices made for us. Both Clintion and Obama (and the Democratic party) support this, but it is Clinton saying: "no excemptions" sounds scary does it not? In other words we will not have a choice. Yes the cold war is still on. But there are heroes who are willing to stand up and shine light on what is going on that concerns all of us as free Americans. those heroes are ones unafraid to stand up-shine their light and expose things like this. America is free---but only if we all stand up for our liberties and to stay free. I believe Indy would agree to that.

America to troops...We got your back

So much junk has been said in the main stream media about our our troops . This is UNSAT. No matter where our troops are We as a free people and a Nation must support them. This includes their mission.  In every area that our heroic armed forces are they are representing our Nation and defending our liberties. God bless our troops and God Bless America!!!!

Socialism...by any other name

Shakespeare really had something when he wrote the lines "a rose by any other name"-meaning it is more important to see things for what they are-rather by a name they are called. "universal health care" is being touted by Clinton and Obama. A differance is that Clinton is saying"for everyone...no excemptions" scary words indeed. In my opinion, Shakespeares words apply here also--but I would say "Socialism by any ther name--still stinks."
