SNL skit...crosses the line

It is one thing to poke innocent fun at an opponent in an election. It is quite another thing to do what NBC and the cast of saturday night did. In a skit written, produced and acually aired the cast of saturday night live suggested that Todd Palin had incest with his daughters. I encourage all townhall bloggers and everyone who reads this post to go to the website of world net daily. They have an article there in their media matters section that tells the whole thing. The title of the article is "NBC jokes: Tod Palin has sex with daughters." The genuises at NBC and SNL think this is funny????Is this the kind of sick  world NBC and SNL want us to have???? God help us all.

9/11 why we must remember

Seven years ago this thursday life changed forever in America. On that day murdering thugs carried out a carefully crafted plan that resulted in the worse mass murder in American history. I was in college at the time and that morning a professor walked in to announce that an event had just happened that was like Pearl Harbor. He was right. I rushed home to find my wife in tears and on the TV I saw the second plane crash into the second tower. Why? dear God...WHY???I soon got my answer. The name of osama ben-laden became a name of infamy.Like the attack in 1941 we were struck by a very real enemy with very real plans for us. However, unlike pearl harbor, this time our enemy is not a country but an idology-militant Islam. We are a free nation. They do not want us to be free. It is about as simple as that. We are free to speak, write, and more importantly VOTE!!!!The stakes in this election year could not be higher in my opinion. We have literally a choice of true war hero and a strong conservative or some wannabe who will sit down with our avowed enemies and fully expect them to"play nice". A fellow named Nevelle Chamberlain tried that and it did not go very well. In their planning of the attack on pearl harbor the Japanese thought if we were dealt such a crushing blow we would fragment both morally and polically then seek peace on their terms. They thought wrong.Something happened in America right after the attack--we woke up!!"we have awakened a sleeping giant " were the words of the Japanese admarial-Yes, we became a p___ed off "incredable hulk" with a blowtorch. Now after 9/11 we just cannot aford to get drowsy now! The naysayers may say that we are napping already--they obviosly did not see the republican convention. Our national resolve is strong--the giant is awake---again!!!!!

Yes,this woman...Yes,this time

As predicted the far left have come out guns blazing agenst the V.P. pick Sarah Palin. What truly amases me is how predictable the bias in the media is in their bias attacks. For example the New York Times practacally devoted their entire front page to the attack on Palin's teenage daughter. The trouble that the biased media still has is you can throw a hurricane at  someone's house but if it is built on a solid rock it shall stand. McCains choice of the Alaskan governor was a bold move and a courageous choice. Sarah Palin is pro-life, rock solid family values (meaning marrage is husband and wife) and a lifetime member of the NRA. The left has questioned her "lack of experence" Well, I would remind the left that the experence starting with the PTA-a soccer mom, being mayor and then a successful govenor qualifies her to be a leader in a lot more than someone who is running for president who was just bearly in the senate and has not hardly anything but a few legislative proposals.  I remember not to long ago there was another ticket with a woman picked as VP. The year was 1984 and big brother and big sister leterally were running for the white house. Well, wise Americans saw thru the socialist facade that was presented. One article had this title" not this woman, not this time"  and the Reagan/Bush ticket won by a landslide! Now we are in another election year with very high stakes. The choice of Palin is good for America and now is the time so I say: YES!! this woman YES this time!!!
