Will we be "obsolete" ?

 One of my favorite episodes of The Twilight Zone is entitled :The Obsolete Man. In this episode starring Burgess Meredith and Fritz Weaver a totalitarian Sate rules where Logic is an enemy, and truth is a menace. Romney Wordsworth (Meredith) is on trial -his crime is being obsolete in this society. He is a librarian(a death sentance) and owns a Bible (also a death sentence). Prosecuting for the State is the chancellor(Weaver) who expresses why the State is superior and the likes of Wordsworth are obsolete.Well, I do not want to spoil the plot for those who have'nt seen it yet but in the end we find out who's thinking is truly "obsolete" .This episode is reflective to what is happing right here and now. In our schools we teach we came from monkeys, God is outlawed(thanks to the ACLU)babys are thrown away like garbage because of the madness of abortion, and we have a presidential canadate(and party)that seems hellbent in setting up a  marxcist leaning system to "spread the wealth".I do believe this was tried before and it did not turn out very well. It was called the Soviet Union. We are close people-so close in voting away the very heart and soul that has kept America prosperious and free for over 200 years. The indavidual-with indavidual liberty to forge their own path is in danger in becoming "obsolete" because so many are perfectly willing to have government swoop down-take control and "save" them. Call me old fashioned but I believe very differently.This country was forged in the hearts of indaviduals who knew good and well that their liberty came down from a creator that it and them. The ideology of those who want to change this nation from a constitutional republic to something  else  is truly obsolete because so many countrys that tried totalitarian/socialist society are now on the asheap of history. They fail because there will always be those who will fight for the indavidual  values and liberties that made men free thus, kept  America free for over 200 years. I am  glad to be one of them. I hope and pray that a world like the episode like The Obsolete Man does not come to be. If it does at least we know what is truly "obsolete".

Sorry Opie...I still believe in mayberry

Ron Howard would have you to believe that Barack Obama has the values of mayberry. Sorry, Opie I am not buying it. Here we are a little more than a week to go in this election year and we will find out what type of government we will have. We will have a government led by a war hero and a vice president (who truly believes in mayberry values) or we will have -in my opinon- a government tettering ever closer to the Socialist abyss. Make no mistake--this is it!!America has a choice  to make---I have already made mine- -let's all truly rally for true mayberry values!!!before mayberry truly becomes  a thing of the past.

Obama's "change"-A clear and present Danger.

Just ask Joe the plumber. He thinks what  Obama ment with his "spread the wealth" remark sounded like Socialism.  I agree. It causes me to wonder what other "change" Obama has in  have in mind for us if he becomes president. Just a few weeks ago I was driving home and I caught the end of a radio talk show. The last caller of the day expressed concerns that he had because of rumors of excutive orders prepaired by the ACLU ready to sign after Obama becomes president. If this is true or not remains to be seen however, what I do know of the legal track record of the ACLU causes me great concern of the freedoms that we hold dear from expression of  faith with crosses to free speech issues regarding prayer. The media seems so bent on attacking Sarah Palin with "troopergate" coverage that they just do not see the danger just lurking  right under their very noses. It also could be that the mainstream media knows a lot about Obama's plans they are just not telling us about them----WHY?????

The heat is on...a little. Still, too many questions not enough answers

Here we are just a few weeks away from the election and what do we really know about Barack obama from the media??The mainstream media has failed  to inform us on some very serious  concerns that Americans have about this man who wants to be the commander in chief of the most powerful country on earth. Even the peice that CNN dio on Obamas connection with Ayers did little to quel the matter(Please see fellow blogger conservabear"s blog for the full CNN report!!)Contrary to what Mechelle Obama tells Larry King America IS asking many questions---and the voices are getting Louder. What about the vote fraud at acorn?why has'nt Obama come clean with all he knows about the university of Illinois refusal to release records relating to his service to the group connected to Ayers?and what is this I hear about excutive orders prepared by the ACLU just ready to sign when obama becomes president? Yes, you have read correctly--the buzz that I have heard is there are prepared excutive orders that are ready to sign prepared by none other than our friends at the American Civil Liberties Union.Just follow the legal track record of this organization-especially about the Bible , crosses ,and many Ten Commandment monuments -and you will soon find out that there is much reason for this concern. People, we need to rally for the precious freedoms we hold dear in this great country and we need to rally NOW!! There are many who are saying it does not  matter--I don't buy that for a second. This country is STILL the shining city on a hill , the light of freedom is STILL shining and  between now and november you will see a lot  of light from this blog. I promise-here and now- to post all info as soon as I find it. In the meantime we as free Americans must not ever let up in what we are doing.We  cannot trust in the media-it is truly up to us who have the courage to shine the light of truth in an ever increasing darkening world. God bless all of you and God bless America! I know that this post is short ...but it will say a lot. I know there are times when life throws circumstances at you that can weigh you down. I know I felt this earlier this year when my father passed. Dad had a saying that he drilled into me at a eary age--that saying was "all ahead flank...no smoke" It is a nautical term that means put the pedal to the medal and BOOK IT!! This is what we need to do now. Now is no time to allow all of the one sided media to weigh us down with their one man show!!! Now is the time to stroke the boilers, pour on the coal, and not even let up. This election (and our country) are much too important!!!The media can spew out all the crud it wants I do not care how big the media is. It only took one smooth stone to take out Goliath. We have that one smooth stone--it is TRUTH!!!I believe here at Townhall we have some of the greatest freedom writers  around. Let us not give up or even slack in doing this good as we write--The whole world will watch as the gaints fall. All ahead flank...NO SMOKE!!
