A Thanksgiving Message

Long before they landed on plymouth rock in 1620 the pilgrims were building on the rock of ages. By faith they stepped onboard the Mayflower -fully aware and trusting in an unseen hand.We all know the story of the friendship with the indians and the bountiful harvest that they were all so grateful to God for,but, how many really realize how deep their faith was to pull them thru many great hardships that they faced.At one time the Mayflower almost sunk and they had to shore up the inside of the ship as they sailed thru a storm at sea. Right now here in America we are facing several storms.We have a storm of a bailout crisis, we have a great moral crisis-many don't know what true marrage is,and then there is the matter of the political party now running the white house.A lot to have on ones mind--indeed. In all of this, however,I am reminded of the pilgrims and their great faith. If they can have faith--so can WE.The rock that they were building on still stands true today. It is a tried and true foundation that we can trust 100 and 10 precent. I for one am extreamely thankful for that!! A Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!    Palin  2012

Time for challenge and resolve

First I would like to thank my friend and fellow patriotblogger Kevin (My view from the right) for the fresh inspiration for this post. In 1980 I was a part of the U.S.S Eisenhower battle group on station in the Indian Ocean. The Iranian hostage crisis was in full swing, Mr Peanut was in office as president,andAmerica was looking for a hero. She got one in Ronald Reagan. Shortly-very shortly after it was clear Reagan was elected the hostege crisis ended. Hmmmmmmm could it be that this came about because the bad guys knew that Matt Dillon was coming to Dodge City as the new U.S. Marshall??? Reagan not only knew the range he was no tenderfoot (unlike a certain reciently elected democrat-but I will save those comments for another post).Ronald Reagan inbodied all that we believe in the goodness/hope in America he also knew good and well what it took to keep America strong and free. Was he perfect-No-was he the leader we needed-YOU BET!! As we look to 2009 we can gather hope that what we belive is still alive and true. That cruse changed me in many was-I became a man-and a shellback (crossing the ecuator) But most importantly I knew why we were there. We have now before us many opportunities plus great challenge. A free America with the resolve of liberty will prevail thru the storms. The winds my blow-the rain fall down but the solid rock plus the nation built on it sll stand.                          PALIN 2012

We are now in the "Obama"Zone

Welcome America aboard the Titanic with your captian Barack Obama. This captain along with his democratic crew at navigation is taking this ship in a "new"direction for "change"as they sail the ship into the "Obama" Zone. There will be much more to follow.but have hope-the lifeboat is still near. Stay tuned...and keep your lifevest handy because I heard there are iceburgs that are ahead.
