The true hate is revealed after Warren invite.

So much for "tolerance" and "diversity" as far as the cultural left in this country is concerned. The invitation of evangelical pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation  on January 20th was a very good choice. What surprises me (it should not have) Is all the nasty turmoil over this choice. How dare the followers of "the chosen one" question his judgment??This just reveals where the true hate is coming from and you just do not have to look very far. Just mention Rush, Sean Hannity or any conservatives name and watch the reaction you get. Rick Warren is the pastor of  the Saddleback evangelical mega-church in Lake Forest California. Strongly pro-life,pro-family Warren supported proposition 8 ballot initative that amended the California constitution to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Warren is being called a "hatemonger" and" intolerant" because of these positions. The people voted and the people made their choice.It is "we the people"  that are supposed to  govern here in this country. It does seem that there are those in California who do not believe in "we the people" but I will save that for another post. This latest squrmish is the lastest in a widening culture war we have within this country. This attack agenst Warren is a part of those who try to intimidate and villify anyone who differs from their "adgenda". In the opinion of this blogger when you turn on the lights it is not the light that flees--it is the darkness. The left and their media allies may seem to look like "goliath"(and many sound like him too) but I hope Warren and others will continue to hold up truth to excercise their right to do so not fearing the "hotair" goliaths.

A Christmas message...Fear not!!

Little did the shepherds realize that holy night that their lives were about to be changed forever. I bet they were thinking"nothing exciting ever happens out here when we have to watch these darn sheep".You can imagine their schock as the angel of the Lord showed up with the message: Fear not :for,behold'I bring you good tidings of great joy'which ahall be to all people.For unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour' which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2 :10-11) It can be so easy to forget such good news as the rush of the season sweeps us all along! But I am writing to wish one and all the blessed happeness of this Christmas message that Jesus truly came into the world-to be that Saviour for all who believe. I will be spending Christmas with mrs. Crossbow and plenty of turkey!!!God bless all of you and from my heart I wish Merry Christmas and  a happy new year!!!

I believe it is that time...again!!

This past Dec 7 was the 67th anneversary of the "day of infamy" On that morning Naval air forces from the empire of Japan attacked our forces on Pearl Harbor. This forever shattered the myth that somehow all the nations of the world could get along under a so called leage of nations.I was't around that morning but I remember another morning very well--that morning was Sept 11, 2001. What happened after these attacks is what I am posting about. Right after the attack on Pearl Harbor something happened in our country--we woke up!! In the words of the japanese admarial " I fear all we have done today is to awaken a sleeping gaint---filled with a terrible resolve" YES!! we were! This notion morphed into the Incredable HULK with a blowtorch!!We became a Juggernaught the likes of the world never seen before.and the world saw what can happen when a democracy is pushed to far.. Right after the attacks on 9/11 we had somewhat of the same reaction---for a awyle. The words "let't ROLL" were on bumber stickers and patriotic songs filled the airwaves. Now we have leaders who say "the war is over" and congress talking of cutting our defense by 20%. That really sends a message to our enimies does it not??What I am getting to is simply this: We are a nation at war. Unlike Pearl Harbor our enimy is not a country-per-se but an ideology of hatred that will stop at nothing to carry out its sinester goals.We did not declare it--it was declared on US. Why??because we are FREE. When a group of men in 1776 signed a piece of paper that declared we are "free and independant"-those who do not want us to be free have been at us ever since. I have two nephews-one in in Iraq and the other is in Kuwait who will tell you-straight-the conflict is very real.I truly believe we must fire up this country again for the precious freedoms we hold so dear!!we may not be facing a pirticular country but the ideological war we are engaged in is very real and must be won. We did it before---we can do it again! Let's ROLL!!God bless America!!                                                     Palin 2012

Victory in Georgia!! NO "blank checks" for the Democrats.

I am sure when the Democrats won the white house and congress they thought they would just continue to cruise merrily along in getting their fillibuster proof magic number of 60 and their "super magority". WRONG!!!!!In a stunning victory Saxby Chambliss  has won in the runoff election thus, denying the Democrats their  "blank check". This victory gives freash hope for all of us. There is do doupt in this writers mind that the Democrats wanted total power to do as they will with no real chance for opposition by those who differ with what THEY want. There is a word for that -it is called Tyranny!! As long as a free nation can VOTE and choose there will be democracy.Thank God we live in this great nation that we can voice with our vote!!The Revolution has begun!! On to Minnesota!!,  On to 2010, and then on to 2012!!!

and some STILL say "there is NO war on Terror"

I do believe it was John Edwards who said the following words: "there is no war on terror".There is another prominant politician who said the following in a speech at the National Press Club last September: "The President continues to talk about the 'war on terror.' That is simply wrong." The politician who said that was none other than our vice-president elect Joe Biden. Hmmmmmmmm I wonder if Mr Edwards and Mr Biden should travel to Mumbai, India and try to convince people there that there is no war on terror???Close to 200 lives were lost in this evil massacre and we still have those who are buring their heads in the political sand--or do I dare say the sands of policical correctness??Just imagine how it was like tring to warn of the impending attack of the Japanese in 1941-or what it felt like being a Jew in Nazi Germany and no one seems to listen to the warnings untill it is to late? Today we have Hugo Chalvez getting a bear hug and a madman in Iran on the verge of getting a nuclear bomb. It can be very discouraging--but not hopeless. I refuse to give in to that.Not when I know good and well who is truly in charge( Isaiah 41:10). I am also reminded of a poem/song often heard around the Christmas season:  I heard the bells on Christmas day their old familiar charols play  mild and sweet their words repeat of peace on earth good willl to men. (one verse says)-and in dispair I bowed my head "there is no peace on earth I said for hate is strong and mocks the song of peace on earth good will to men- (now read this!) Then pealed the bells more loud and deep God is NOT dead NOR does he sleep--the wrong shall fail-the right prevail with peace on earth good will to men.  (Henry Wadworth Longfellow)
