Reagan Returns.

Ronald Reagan has returned. Last week a bronse statue of the American hero was unvieled in the US Capitol Rotunda in Washington DC. Nancy Reagan was there and said she liked the "likeness" but what I like is what I see happening not only in Washington but all over America. Americans are coming back to the core principles that have built this nation-the HUGE success of the TEA parties is a great example of this.  When I was in my "rock and roll" stage I listened to a song called "we're not gonna take it anymore" This song was featured in a movie "Iron Eagle".  The undeniable meassage to Washington is just that! WE are NOT gonna take this big government take over anymore!!The news media bearly covered the historic story of Reagans statue-but that does not stop the groundswell that has begun. The bronze statue is just that-a statue. The principles that Reagan believed in and we believe in that will bring our country back from the abyss are alive and well!! There is one very interesting tidbit of info that many newspapers did not include in their stories. That info is there are pieces of the former berlin wall in the base of the statue. Who could forget reagan standing on the wall and thundering these words "tear down this wall"!! Today there are many walls in our media and schools that kick out God. I join with Reagan in saying "tear down these walls"!!The groundswell is growing--we have a LOT to do before 2010 and 2012--It is gonna be a fight--no doupt-but I say--BRING IT ON!!!!

Remembering D Day...and why

65 years ago on this date allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to liberate Europe from Hitler's Socialist tyranny. Many will see observations and ceremonies marking the great sacrifices of "the greatest generation". Today we breathe free because of sacrifice. The brave who have answered the call of duty and we are now free. Personally, I am overwhelmed at the thought of what it took. The literal blood, sweat, and tears of all those who knew that great evil must be fought agenst and good must prevail. I am reminded of a story of the battle now called "the battle of the bulge" Patton was being hammered, the weather was not cooperating and it looked like the American lines were not giong to hold..then the miracle happened! The sky broke-allied planes roared in and gave the Germans some pounding and Patton went on to win. Patton looked up and gave thanks--he knew where the victory came from. Today many are observing D Day remembering events in Europe and here in America. On this D Day anniversary MUST remember and thank Almighty God for he freedoms we have and never forget those who paid the ultimate price.
